1946
Heitz Machine is located in Maryland Heights, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. St. Louis is an excellent location as a logistical “hub” for transportation in the United States.
Heitz Machine was started in 1946. From its begining, Heitz was a production job shop that specialized in aggressive machining of complex parts. As the company grew it developed strong capabilities in two distinct areas: A) single spindle automatic screw machines; B) turning and chucking for complex parts requiring grinding, broaching, etc. Over the years the company developed a reputation for quality. This is still the case today as we move into the next century. The company has been at its present location since 1964 and operates out of a 40,000 square foot facility.
The Future is Now
In the early 1990’s it became obvious that the job-shop machining industry was changing dramatically and that Heitz Machine must also change to remain competitive and grow.
The ever accelerating pace of technology with CNC machines, computers and information systems continuously needs to be addressed so that we can bring the most value to you, our customer.

Our current focus is to continue to invest in technology as it affects every aspect of our business–from machine tool technology to information systems.
